How do teens afford going 'out'?

I find it hard to believe their parents give them money, unless they're rich. I know my mom would make me use my own money if I were to go out. The way I see it, a trip to the mall would cost about $20. The most I could see my mom giving me per week for allowance (I don't even have an allowance right now) is $5, and that would give me enough to go 'out', if I so chose, only once a month, and even then, I would hardly have any money left over ($20 extra a year). Funny acceleration noises after running over a truck tire?

I have an '08 PT Cruiser and got behind a turck earlier today to exit the freeway only to see one of the layers of his tires come flying out from under his trailer and although I tried to avoid it, the tire piece went under my passanger side front and tire. I pulled off the freeway, popped the portion of my bumper and liscence plate back into place that the tire had knocked out and now when initially accelerating, I can hear a loud gutteral sound coming from the car but it goes away in seconds unless I accelerate hard again. It does not make the sound when accelerating in park, only in drive. It is not leaking any fluids save for a slight water drip from the AC. Any ideas what this might be or how much it might cost to fix?

Well as me and my friend were leaving nobody said anything to me, we were about 5 feet out of the store and the gay guy working at register came out holding the purple cardboard earring holder and said " can i have my earrings back?" i pulled them out of my pocket and gave them to him. and he took them and said "come with me now" so he brought us behind the counter and he said "have a seat" even tho there was no chair. so he called someone and said it very loudly into the phone almost screaming, so loudly the entire store looked over " WE HAVE A SHOPLIFTER, WHITE FEMALE, NOT CAUSING ANY PROBLEM" minutes later 2 mall cops came over standing outside the store. he took out the paper and started asking me for my name, address, age, phone number, etc. I told him my name and he screamed at me in my face again " YOUR GONNA HAVE TO SPELL THAT" so i spelled it. than he asked for a parents number, i gave him my house number, no one answered. and than he asked for a cell, i lied and told him my parents dont have cell phones and he said " well if you don't give me a number to call right this moment im going to send your and your little friends asses to jail, where you can wait til someone answers." so i gave him my moms cell and he huffed loudly and threw his arms in the air and yelled " you couldn't tell me that the first time!" so he called my mom told her what i did and she said she will be right over. as we waited a real sheiff came into the store, one of the mall cops behind him and said "okay so whats going on?" the guy said "well (pointing at me) she was the one with the merchandise and she (pointing at my friend) was with her but she said she didn't have anything and didn't know she did it, but officer i find that very hard to believe she didn't know her friend was planning stealing, which is a very serious crime." the sheiff looked at me than my friend and rolled his eyes and said "do you have somewhere more private?" the gay guy said "oh yes yes back here officer come with me." we all followed him to the back room and than my mom just walked in. she asked my friend if she could wait with my sisters outside the store, and the gay guy yelled "she is evidence and part of the crime she cannot leave!" the officer rolled his eyes again and said " she's fine, she can go." so the officer started asking me and my mom questions and toward the end my mom asked " can you not press charges? she will never come back to this store and I'll pay double or triple the price of those earrings just please don't press charges." the gay guy stood up and said "Here at claires we procsecute EVERYONE, last week my own cousin was caught shoplifting here and guess what? we prosecuted her too." so i had to sign this tresspassing form so i cannot go back into the store, and they said i would get a court date in the mail or something like that. Oh, get the Honda. You will be happy because of its reliability. I love Mini Coopers, but I think they're basically BMWs, and as such, must be serviced regularly. If I had to make that choice, I'd take the Honda - with an automatic. You won't have to do very much work on it at all, except for oil changes - I just spent $2,500 on my Toyota, which isn't even worth that much, but it now runs like a top. The Mini-Cooper is really cute, and drives well but you can't beat the reliability of the "rice boxes". True. Get the Cr-Z and don't look back. You won't regret it, and it will serve you well into your 30s.

i started to talk and hang out with this Spanish/asian girl in my class in college. She asked for my number. Then we started to chill at the mall or fastfood on our break. Well the other day me and my bestie were at the mall and we got on the escalator to go back downstairs and she just pushed me like really hard and i fell down and broke my leg. When she got down to the bottom where i was, she poured her frappe all over me and walked away with a group of girls and began giggling. So any revenge ideas? Don't hold back! Think of the worst thing you can and then make that worse! We were friends for five years and i don't know what her problem is.

im going to the outlet mall in round rock, tx, and me and my friends are meeting at chili's. i looked at the menu for it, and i saw that theres nothing i can eat except one of the salads and i dont like half the stuff on there. is there any restaurants i can go to without asking them to take the meat off?

Places to hang out with your boyfriend?

We're fifteen. Been dating nine months. Generally, we hang out three times a week. We go to thE movies all the time. While it's fun.. It's getting expensive. The mall.. We're both at a mutual agreement that it's gotten pretty boring after only a few times going. We usually spend our time at his house, though. We often watch movies or tv there. And boy, are we bored after the movie or show is over.. We rarely come to my house as we get less privacy than at his. We would just sit and talk.. But we literally have ran every subject totally dry. And I'm not exaggerating, either. I am not a summer person at all. So.. I keep us mainly indoors. Occasionally we'll go hang out qt the local school's playground or we'll just take a walk.. But in my opinion, those are better suited for fall and winter, haha. We both don't care for bowling. I enjoy ice skating, but he does not. I absolutely hate swimming.. So none of that. Where else could we go that is indoors? Or what else could we do? Any fun games that you can play are appreciated, too. Or any fun variations of a bunch of cheap things would be nice, too. We've just totally run out of ideas..

What would affect my credit more,keeping a credit card with a 300 credit line or canceling the card ?

I have an orchard card thats a year old with low credit line that is affecting my credit score and they are not giving increases at this time.If I cancel card would it affect my credit score worse than keeping it with low credit limit?

Why does Orchard Bank have a P.O. Address if they are not a Scam?

The moment I saw that they had an annual fee I called and canceled. They failed to tell me up front my credit limit. I never received a credit card or charged a thing. When I call they say that my card is account is canceled and all fees waved but then I just got my second notice for $64.57. Of course they have a PO Box and I can't send them a registered letter. Apparently they are lying to me. The woman just told me that I can't record her saying my account is closed and there are no fees or charges owing. I asked her to write me a letter stating that and she said they already did. Then why did they send this past due statement! SCAM is what a lot of people say online and I agree with them!

it could just be the fact that it is so hot and your radiator could be of lesser quality and causing you car to overheat and not cool proerly or the fan could be bad... so i would turn on the car and see if the fan on the radiator comes on when the car heats up or not.

My 99 Dodge Intrepid shuts off while im driving, lights stay on though....what could be the problem?

A few weeks ago...i was driving on the street and pressing the gas...then my car just shuts off...so i try to start it again...takes a few times but it does start...so I drive it to the mechanic and they see that the coolant is leaking out so they replace the water pump. Its been running okay for a week but sometimes it would hesitate when I step on the gas. And yesterday, I was on the freeway and it just shut off on me again. I was able to coast on off the freeway down the exit....tried starting it again right away and wouldnt start...waited about 40 minutes then it started. Now when im driving it feels like its hesitating more like its going to turn off again. I had a new battery put in a couple months ago and a new radiator fan....im scared to be driving this thing now

But where i live they dont hire kids to do newspaper and im too young to bag groceries and i already babysit but i cant just go to them they need to ask me. I then started it again and it fired but when I tried to accelerate it moved a foot or so and that was it. I then turned it off again and tried starting it again. get out there and run anyway. ha ha when i was reading this i felt like i was kind of reading over what i had already written if you know what im trying to say. running and exercise helps build selfasteme and helps with toning your body. i knoe how it feels to pul yourself up out of bed early in the morning DURING SUMMER VACATION just to go running and start my day. beleive me it gets easyier and easier. be that athlete you truly are you know you can do it. the funny thing is im supposed to be running right now and im on the computer haha. but im gonna start going in the morning again first thing tomorrow morning :) you just have to believe that your worth it!!! good luck and dont worry theres a lot of us out there you've just got to make it happen for yourself :)

I have a 1996 Acura t.l 2.5 and it will not start?

I was driving on the freeway and my car jerked and acted like it wanted to cut off. It slowed down from 80 to 60. I hit the gas nothing happened. I hit it again it jerked and drove normal. I got off the freeway stopped at the light hit the gas and it wouldn't go, then it jerked and took off. Drove it on the streets at 40 mph it worked fine took it on the freeway did 60 mph and it did the same thing, jerked and slowed down. But this time when I hit the gas nothing happened but a boom noise. I pulled over on the freeway and it cutoff. Started it up and it came back on hit the gas it jerked and it cut off again. Hi.....ok so i met this guy on Facebook. He lives in the same state as me. I have seen him at the mall so its not like its some random guy i haven't even seen before. I gave him my number...blah blah blah and i ended up really REALLLLY liking this guy. He is the sweetest thing ever and we have a lot of things in common. He told me he loved me and stuff and ahh it just makes me so happy. So i went on his profile to say hi and i see that he is married to this new girl. Well, you probably won't be able to cope with a new job since you already have your mind made up that you can't handle it. The truth is you won't know unless you try. Having a job is very different that going to classes in college so there is no way for you to know if you're going to break down. You can at least go to the new job with a positive attitude and try.
